Queue<T> class
An adapter class that provides a First-In, First-Out (FIFO) data structure.
In the C++ STL, std::queue wraps an underlying container (by default a deque)
and restricts the interface to FIFO operations.
- Mixed-in types
- Available extensions
Constructors
- Queue()
- Creates an empty queue using a Deque as the default underlying container.
-
Queue.from(Iterable<
T> elements) - Creates a queue containing the elements of the given iterable. Elements are pushed in the order they appear, so the first element of the iterable will be at the front of the queue.
Properties
- back → T
-
Returns the back element of the queue without removing it.
Throws a StateError if the queue is empty.
no setter
- empty → bool
-
Returns
trueif the queue is empty.no setter - first → T
-
The first element.
no setterinherited
- firstOrNull → T?
-
Available on Iterable<

-
Returns the front element of the queue without removing it.
Throws a StateError if the queue is empty.
no setter

no setterinherited
- isNotEmpty → bool
-
Returns
trueif the queue has at least one element.no setteroverride -
iterator
→ Iterator<
T> -
Returns an iterator that iterates from the front of the queue to the back (FIFO order).
no setteroverride
- last → T
-
The last element.
no setterinherited

-
Available on Iterable<
The last element of this iterable, orT> , provided by the IterableExtensions extensionnullif the iterable is empty.no setter - length → int
-

no setterinherited
- single → T
-
Checks that this iterable has only one element, and returns that element.
no setterinherited
- singleOrNull → T?
-
Available on Iterable<
The single element of this iterator, orT> , provided by the IterableExtensions extensionnull.no setter - size → int
-
Returns the number of elements in the queue.
no setter
